OBD0 to OBD1 harness questions
I have and 88 LX. I want to go to a B16 first gen but I can get a good deal on a second gen. But it is OBD1. So if I use a OBD1 conversion harness will everthing still work the same? Will the wiring from DPI to MPFI be the same? Is this harness just made to hook up the existing harness to the new OBD1 harness? Will I lose any performance? I have looked throught the posts but I still am not sure on these points. Thank you.

Re: OBD0 to OBD1 harness questions
this obd0 - obd1 conversion harness just plugs in where your ecu plugs in and allows you to plug a obd1 ecu into it. You would convert your dx harness to mpfi then plug into the conversino harness which would connect to the obd1 ecu.

So the wiring for the Vtec would still be the same?

Re: OBD0 to OBD1 harness questions
the wiring for vtec would come off the conversion harness, there will be 2 wires that go to the vtec stuff, 1 that goes to knock sensor and four for the o2.

Re: OBD0 to OBD1 harness questions
Thanks maybe I will just buy a Hasport harness or wait to get a Gen 1.
