I place Lindbergs above Revell. there good ones are the 66 Chevelle (1999 model of the year), B Body Mopar kits, there 1/20 scale Dodge Stealth is also very nice

Some Lindberg kits are real disappointments and some are outright works of genius. Their truly good kits are their 1964 Mopars, their 1953 Ford Victoria, 1961 Chevrolet Impala, and 1966 Chevelle. Also recommendable are their snap-together Chrysler Atlantic, Dodge Caravan, Crown Victoria squad car, and Dodge Dakota kits, as well as their re-releases of the IMC Mustang II and IMC Cougar II concept cars.

However, some of their worst kits (which, to be fair, are re-issues of old Palmer kits) are their classic car kits like their 1948 Lincoln Continental and their Auburn Speedster.

Overall, just ask around about a specific kit and you'll get a kit specific answer. Pretty much, that's the way it is with all the USA kit manufacturers.

Don't forget their '67 442, it's also a good kit. I don't think any of them are as good as Revell's best efforts or exactly works of genius, but these are very good models nonetheless and they are fun to build. The hoppers are junk too. They'd be works of genius if they had been good enough for the company to continue making the good kits. They have not...they've pretty much completely abandoned any serious models for the more toy-like.

The '61 Impala isn't bad at all.
