Front end noise in Grand Cherokee
When my 2002 Grand cherokee is cold and I am just starting to turn the wheel to make a turn, a vibration is felt in the steering column and a noise is heard.
I took the car, still under warantee, to the dealer. I was told this was a common problem and that it was just power steering fluid going through the hoses. There was nothing Jeep could do about this common complaint. I am not sure that I was told the tuth. Has anyone else had this problem and heard the same explanation? -MG |

My dad had some similar symptoms, but not just when the car is cold.
Check the transfer case to see if it is leaking some lube. His was real bad, had to rebuild cause it was too late after he got it back from my mother-in-law.
