Re: Offroad

The closest thing you will probably get to a Grand Wagoneer is Tamiya's Jeep Grand Cherokee. Also check out such kits as Tamiya's Jeep Wrangler, Revell 80' Ford Bronco, Revell Silverado with MY how-to suspension lift, or AMT 89 Silverado with Perry's resin 4x4 kit.

Revell once released the J-10 Honcho which I believe is the pickup variation of the Grand Wagoneer. Monogram's CJ-7 (recently re-released under Revell) and AMT's Dukes of Hazzard CJ5 would also be good off-road projects as long as you add some larger tires.

I don't know if you're willing to spend the money, but Aoshima makes some great 4x4 kits of the Toyota Hilux, Hilux Surf (4Runner), Mitshubishi Pajero, and Nissan Terrano (Pathfinder). They even make a series of lifted toyotas (both the Hilux and Surf) that come with a set of Super Swamper tires, the best scale off road tire produced in my opinion. I have a few of the kits and can personally attest to their excellent quality.

American Staco makes some insanely realistic off road tires, but there pricey, as for kits, AMT has a stock CJ5 coming soon (not the Dukes kit). also Revell has a Escallade coming out, you can do a rich mans 4X4.

BTW. the Revell Silverado is a 2WD

Don't forget Revell's Datsun pick-up kit that was re-issued recently.

Even comes with a pair of 1:25th scale dirt bikes, too.
