I want a stock or slightly upgraded 1995 Supra TT with under 100K miles. I went to edmunds, kelly blue book, black book, and cars.com and found that a 1995 Supra TT with 70K miles in OUTSTANDING to CLEAN condidtion (normal to no wear) has a private party value of 19G's....that is for an automatic too (added about 700 bucks) and it also has markup for demand in my area code (LA area with markup of 900)....so I would be willing to pay about that for one...let me know!

Re: WTB 1995 Supra TT
HAHAHA, KBB is a good resource but it can't always take into account the market for these cars, soooo many people want one although it has gone down some since F&F faded away, 19K isn't impossible but your going to be looking for a LONG time to find one for that price.

I understand...honestly...I didn't even know a dang supra was in F&F until recently....I just like the cars. I found 3 supras for the price I want so far but I am not ocmpletely satisfied with them. I also didn't JUST stick to KBB...I went to 3 other places to see. I think it is ridiculous and laughable to see some people trying to sell their 94 supras with 100K miles for 30G's....the ORIGINAL sticker price was almost that! I have all the time in the world to find one. It should actually be less than 19G for a 6-speed TT with the miles because I guessed low on the miles and put in extra for auto tranny....we'll see how it goes...thanks!

Re: WTB 1995 Supra TT
The 6speeds are the more desireable model, therefore people are willing to pay more than the autos. Decent autos go everyday for $20-30k depending on the year while 6speeds all things equal will go for $3-4k more. Autos do make the better drag car if thats what youre looking to do.
Dont forget that the asking price of a car is never set in stone. if you find a car you like try talking to the owner and see if you can work out a deal with them to accomodate the both of you in a quick sale for them and a lower price for you. Goodluck in your search. |
