it might help if you tell us whether they are 4 or 5 lugs... i take it by the look of them though that they are 5???

They are 5 lugs and I know that they will fitt 99.5 forward jetta/golf.

Nice wheels. do you have all the center caps? i have a 2000 1.8T with an approx. 4" b/c (bolt circle)...same pattern on these wheels? have the wheels been sold as of yet (05JA05)?
