Question Sttreet racing

Man there is a big story here in central Illnois. two cars where street racing one was a mustang, I think the other was a srt-4. They lost controll and the mustang fliped end over end 6 times. The driver survived and is looking at 5 years for wrekless homicide, when he gets out of the hospital, and another six for leaving the scene. The passenger burned to death. the srt-4 driver is facing wrekless homicide 5 years. and another 6 years for leaving the scene of a crime. kinda makes you think twice........

Re: Sttreet racing

Sure i guess....They must have been going down a highway or something...Why would you race with a passenger in the car at that high of speeds. Anyway, they are both screwed. Hey wouldnt it be kinda funny if they end up being cell mates.

Re: Sttreet racing

yeah no joke. but i agree with BadAZZ240, i never race with someone in the car, or on crowded streets. ill play, but never seriously race. dont get me wrong, i feel bad for them, but how dumb can you be? if you arent sure about yourself, the road, or your car. dont do it.

Re: Sttreet racing

It happened that I live in a town which is populated byChinese, they are all kind of rich, so they fix their Civics and go racing. I have to say it was popular until one police officer got killed in a drag race trying to stop it and another dozen of people were killed after that during a coule months. So the police started to hunt people involved with street racing.Later on the municipal government built a racetrak, so no one races any more. Wanna race-find a safe place and dont be too dumb!!!

Re: Sttreet racing

I was watching Americas Most Wanted and two guys were racing (both Mustangs) and One of them lost control when it shifted and ran over a girl who was watching. The guy ran and turned himself in a few months later. What also sucks is that the other guy who didn't wreck is going down for murder too because he challenge the guy who wrecked. They said that he was just as guilty sense he instigated the race.

If you have never been locked up, you might find it funny. They were probably youngsters with their lives in front of them. To live with thoughts of taking someone else's life is horrible. Having to see the poor folks whose family members died during the trial, it will be worse then what the court system can throw at them.

I have to agree. a friend of mine had 2 accidents in his mercedes M series. The bull bar saved his life but he killed 2 people in the first accident and a 9 year old kid in the second accident. Both weren't his fault but he has nightmare about these accidents all the time. He even twitches at random and has a permanent bump on his head that reminds him of the accidents everytime he looks in the mirror.

On a side not, talking about street racing I was on the highway just 20 minutes ago and i was doin the legal limit of 75miles when another black Z and an old toyota mark II zoomed past me doing around 125mph. They were going as fast as 156mph right as soon as they manouvered around all the cars on the highway. The idiot in the camaro jumped 3 lanes at like 125mph to go around traffic and I just thought, what a F*cking moron. I mean I'm guilty of street racing every now and again but never on a crowded road coz thats just stupid. My
