back early, turbo size?
well, the fishing season ended early so I got back on land yesterday and am not going to have wuite the coin I thought I was going to, still a large sum but not sure I can do my ENTIRE engine I had planned, and what I am going to do is just simply put in my 11:1's into the B20, the LS cams/manifold/tranny so that I can still smoke some people while I am building the B18.
then I am going to get the B18 sleeved at 84mm and get some forged rods/pistons, Im thinking 9.5:1 and instead of going NA, I have decided FI is the way I need to go to get where I wanna be sooner/cheaper. was behind a SRT4 today and tried to keep up and man that was a sad sight, I got WHOOPED! I am going to peice together a kit instead of buying a premade turbo kit though, and am wondering what size turbo would be good for me If I wanna run say 10 lbs daily and crank it up to maybe 16 or so at the track? of course fuel upgrades and all te other necesseties(sp?) but Im mainly worried about the turbo size right now, I dont know what the compressor map is telling me when I look at them. but basically I wana whoop on stock SRT4's and WRX's. and of course all them damn kids in their POS cavy they think is the shiz. thanks in advance
