The Esprit Sport 350 is a good car, but when will Lotus wake up and kill the Esprit??? the car's been going for decades!!
we know Lotus can design beautiful cars so why dont they just get on with it and build a replacement??? there are just too many faults and flaws in the Esprit's design... and thats EVERY Esprit...

A flawed design can carry on for years and be very successful, look at the Porsche 911

I think they can build a better car but that dosent mean that the esprit isnt also a good car

The difference is that even some of the earlier (and thus flawed, according to you) 911's have been truly great cars..
'73 2.7 RS, '74 RS 3.0 are 2 legendary vehicles.
These cars are of similar vintage to the early Esprits, yet if you look at how 911's have progressed over the years and the cars that have been subsequently produced, it makes the various Lotus's look pretty average. Sure, you can't argue with the way it looks, but you can argue with just about everything else on some of the cars.
OK it's a good car, but put it on a wet road and you wouldnt dare push it. I'm just saying that Lotus can do a lot better, it's time to put the Esprit to sleep.. Just my opinion, sorry if that offends anyone
