Unhappy Fuel Delivery Problem On 94 Miata

I have a 1994 Mazda Miata with 93,000 miles. I've owned it since it had 7,800 miles on it. I've never had any major problems up to this point.

Now however, I am getting an intermittent problem. I'll be driving down the road and for a split second it's like there is no fuel. This has been happening more and more frequently. Today I was at a stop light and it caused the car to die. It started right back up and was fine. It's happening about once or twice a day and I only drive it about 10 miles a day.

What could this be? Fuel filter? Something else? I have replaced the fuel filter before but I know it's been a while. I've never had the fuel injectors cleaned. What about that? Any ideas?
