hey whats up with this im hearing that alot of ppl swap the engine of a 1g car to a 2g eclipse? is it better or something, bigger turbo? better performance? explain plz... and yea the car i got is a 99 gsx (stock)

The motor doesnt include turbo. You can put a 1g turbo on a 2g motor, or a 2g turbo on a 1g motor. The "motor" is just a block. All of the parts that attach to it are interchangeable. That being said, this has been discussed extensively on here in the last couple days. The 6 bolt 1g motor (90-92) can take more whp thanks to its larger rods, and it doesnt crankwalk as often (yes, it does crankwalk). The 92-94 1g motors are no better than the 2g motors, but the swap is the same.

Depends on your goals. The 14b can run 12s on race gas (has actually done 11.84) and is a fun turbo on pump gas. But naturally everyone wants more, its your call. I think its a great turbo to learn how to tune on.
