gas pedal

when i press the pedal to the floor it will get stuck or stick to the floor. This scared me the other day cause it redlined like a bitch for a couple seconds until the pedal got unstuck and returned to the normal position. Anyone else ever have that and what did you do to fix it?

your trottle cable could be pinched or stuck somewhere... also, the spring on your trottle body could be goin to hell and not pushing the cable back to normal... good luck with that!

More often than not, its inside the car. If you have a drivers side floor mat get rid of it. My pedal was hanging up on that for a while, and I was missing shifts at the track for a week because I couldnt get the clutch al the way to the floor. Its been sitting in a corner of the garage ever since
