I did this once... and I will never do it again... the easiest way I found was to use the stock panels as a template. Goto a feed store (phone book will have them listed) and buy a small roll of chicken wire. lay the wire over your stock door panel, cut 1" farther than your physical borders and fold the wire back, cut along the borders for your door handle, lock, switch (or crank) holes... you get the idea... till you have a wire cutout over your stock panel. Now mix your fiberglass, brush it on the front of the panel till the whole thing is covered, let dry a bit and remove the stock panel let dry completely. Flip it over and brush on a thin and I mean THIN coat of glass on the back just enough to cover the wire. then let it dry. now get your stock panel back out and a permanent marker to mark the spots for your panel clips. now open your box of panel clips out and superglue them in the marked places let dry for a few minutes and now glass the back of your panel make sure to at least cover the bases of the clips you glued and make sure to keep your holes somewhat clean (this stuff is messy to sand) after you think your new panel is the bomb!!! get some finishing paper and sand carefully on the front till its smooth and clean and level. now prime it, paint it, and use your stok panel to locate all the inner door (armrest etc) screw holes and mark them drill holes a little smaller than your screws or attach actual hardware to the thing and reassemble your new panel. Open your door, pop it into place and go make your other one. When your all finished and ohhh so proud.... go tell all your friends how much work this 3 day venture was and that youll do it for them for about 200 bux a side! Email me if you have any questions
