Black Molding Around Windows
I was wondering if anyone else is running into this. I live in Florida and here it is ass hot and Satan just sits on your car waving "whats up". I think that the heat is corroding the molding around the windows of my 98 Teg ls. Does anyone know if there is a way to cover this up or paint over it because it is looking like the rubber is being eaten away.

yeah dude the same shits happenin on my car.....must be the humidity of the south....i think there was an article on this and how to clean it up on www.team-integra.net......

u know, i live in orlando, and i have the same problem too. when i wash the car, i just rub a little baby oil over the molidings. it helps a bit.

i think about 4 out of 5 hondas have this problem.
i wanted to get new ones before i painted my car and went to honda dealership and they want 50 bones A PIECE!!!! so i just took the rest of the rubber off and spray painted it. it actully looks pretty good! you cant tell its spray paint.

i dont know dude, i dont really want to have any spray paint on my car....i told myself that i was going to do everything right on this car....even if it costs an ass load to do it
