92 accord - no spark from coil
Drove my Accord yesterday, parked it and returned several hours later only to have it crank and crank and not start...replaced igniter, cap and rotor and still no start---distributer turns, no spark from coil when I removed main lead to distributer and put wire near a ground--if an igniter goes, does it trash the coil? How reilable are the coils in these cars--do they fail? The igniter was an aftermarket manufactured by Niehoff--what to do???
