Nitrous?

Hey guys, Im thinking about putting nitrous on my 03 2.2l cavalier. I was planning on a 75h single shot wet system. Will stock internals handle this? any alternitives or extra info I should know? thanks

Re: Nitrous?

What would be the point? Street racing is bad, trust me. I got a $270 ticket for racing. That is also three points on your license.

I dont street race, I bracket race and do quarter mile runs against some guys at Sera Toga Speedway. I know adding nitrous to a vehicle makes me look like a street racer, but please don't make assumptions. The reason I want nitrous is because it is the one of the most effective upgrades but still minimises excessive wear on the engine, unlike forced induction which is adding some constant wear on the engine.

Re: Nitrous?

75hp shot might be a little high, i'd stick w/ the 50hp shot, only use it under the conditions stated on the package it came in-just to play it safe. none of this two 50hp shots during the same race shit-that'll blow your engine. and like pyro said, don't street race it, but take it to the track. safer and legal.

Re: Nitrous?

75 wet is perfectly safe for the ecotec. 100 wet is pushing it, but it will handle it.
