clutch master cylinder
Dripping clutch fluid in the floor where the clutch pedal shaft goes into the firewall. This would be the clutch master cylinder leaking, not the clutch slave cylinder, right? I get those two mixed up. My local dealership service dept is a bunch of a-holes and will only tell me that they will need to look at it and won't order anything w/o prepayment.

As mentioned above, that is the master. My brother says he swaps them in 15 mintues. I found it took me much longer than that just to get the line free
But he's a badass. I'd say its something to take a shot at yourself if you do your own work. But its much easier to pay the dealership. IF you do go to them, tell them straight out what the problem is, rather than telling them the symptoms. Otherwise they want to diagnose it, and that often costs more than the labor to replace the part on a small job like this. I think the part itself is already about 80 bucks.. Slave is 50+, so that sounds about right. Either way, good luck with it

Yea, I'm definitely doing it myself. I just wanted to make sure I ordered the right part before having to mess with a return. Dealer wants $120 for it, but I'll probably get on from Advance or Autozone. Anybody know of any good brand names or ones to avoid? Or any place to order online, that may be better than Advance or Autozone for that matter? Thanks.
