this is a B16a (1) right ?

the coolant temp sensor is located on the side of the block underneeth the Vtec Sylenoid. the one in the back of the block is a Knock sensor, oil pressure switch... and one more I can't think of. but everything will plug in using you stock plugs with the exception of, Knock sensor, 2nd O2 and Vtec wires.

as for the VSS you will see a bolt holding in the "harness" unbolt and rip that mofo out. (9 time out of 10 they cut the VSS cable) your stock one will fit right in.

Got it ? Good.

Re: need help b16!!

hes right, its the knock sensor, you are gonna have to make your own subharness for that.

Well, I know some of our motors come with the coolant sensor on the t stat housing. So, you need to clip the two pronged wires, and wire ina plug, for the coolant sensor located there.

The 1g b16a has a coolant temp switch on the back of the block as well. But I believe you are talking about the knock sensor whcih requires a subharness. You cna buy one from hasport or save the money and make one yourself. If your b16a came with the original harness it should be simple to make your own conversion harness.
