Custom Intakes

In another thread some of you guys mentioned fabricating a custom intake to save money and create higher flow. So instead of taking that thread off topic I decided to make a new one. Did you do it yourself or go to a shop. What kind of materials are need? What was the diameter of your piping. And what about dual cia's I've seen it done before but I wondered the same things I just listed.

Re: Custom Intakes

so you didn't do any piping to move the filter away from the engine to get colder air?
