I would like to install a 10 disc CD changer in my husband's truck but, I am at a loss. The existing faceplate has the CD button on it so I am assuming this will be easy; but I was told that I can not install it without removing the dashboard?! Can someone also direct me to a site where I can find the wiring diagrams so, I can find out if I will need an adapter? Thank you!!!

Re: How do I install a 10 disc changer?
You have to have an adapter that works with the changer. You must take the radio out and run the cable form the adapter to the changer. I had mine installed at HiFi Buys. The adapter cost $70 and the installtion was only $30.

Thanks for your reply. Turns out it was simple to install, was able to do it myself in no time. Hardest part was the getting the dash board in and out. Luckily got everything up and running and didn't break anything. Guess if a blonde can do it anyone can. LOL
