stronger turbo
 what is a stronger turbo on a 94 base model 3000gt...a 94 vr4 turbo system plus 94 intercooler on a 94 base model.....or 2 2004 wrx sti turbos on a 94 base model with a sti intercooler........i just want to no what will be better of a turbo for the base model...which turbo is strong......vr4 turbos or sti turbos....not including engines and the cars....just which is the stronger turbo???

the sti turbo is stronger, but thats not quite what your asking. you will have 2 turbos if ya take the vr4 setup, and all the pieces will already fit, so no custom fabrication. Plus you wont even use the potential of either setup due to your higher compresion.
I would go with the VR4 turbos.

hhhhmmmm
well if the sti turbos are stronger....and i had the vr4 setup switched with the stis turbos on and the vr4 turbos removed...wouldnt the engine be stronger and quicker?

You wont use the potential of either of either unless you swap a vr4 engine for yours, or at the very least drop the compression to 8:1. And the vr4 setup wont work with sti turbos, you will have to custom fab exhaust manifolds, o2 housings, oil and coolant lines, and intercooler adaptors.
If you want bigger than stock vr4 turbos get the vr4 setup and some bigger dirrect replacement turbos, but like i said before you wont even use the potential of the stock ones.
