Arrow 2001 Firebird convertible

i am shopping around for a car and found a 2001 Bird Convertible. it has 28,000 and a slow moving top. is this common? the dealer gave me the excuse that the hydrolics are moving slow cause it was cold... it was about 35 deg, but since when did that effect a convertible top??? is there a common problem with the convertible top motor on Firebird Convertibles (2001)?

Re: 2001 Firebird convertible

I dont know of any personally but is there a reason you are looking for a conv. If you like them then thats koo, but i would rather have t-tops or hardtop. Also you could prolly find a better deal through a private party... How much is he asking? Also, find out from gm what it would cost if the motors did go out that way you can have proof to show them and have take that off the price...
