Fuel System Problems!! Heeeeellllppp!!!!!

Does anyone know how to tell when your fuel pum is going out? I saw the thread about the injectors, which is what what's wrong with it also. I smel gas everytime i start it up(10 min). Then when I turn, it jerks and sometimes stalls out. HEEEELLLLPPPP!!!

well replace your injectors or injector seals depends on where your injectors are leaking. check the fuel filter check the fuel sending unit which is located on the gas tank it could be leaking as well. might need to be replaced. the way to tell if you fuel pump is going out it to do a fuel presser test. you need a special tool to do so safly. hope this helps you track down the problem

Not sure if this helps, but on my 1991 Cherokee, I had a similar problem where it started stalling. I tried replacing the fuel pump, putting fuel injector cleaner in it, with no results.

It ended up being that the ballast in my gas tank had broken loose and shredded the line from the fuel pump out of the tank. Fuel pump was alright, but I had to put in a new tank.

I have an 86 jeep cherokee that stalls on me even if I am driving. If I accelorate to much it stalls if I brake and turn a corner it stalls I know that it is a fuel system issue. However I don't know anything further on that I was thinking maybe a vacuum leak in the system somewhere but I really don't know if anyone has any ideas or has had the problem and fixed it could you please e-mail me or post a message here telling me what is wrong and how I might go about fixing it.
