1g vs. 2g
I tried the search but it kept coming back: "no results for (1g)" when I search 1g vs. 2g.
so what limits the 1g power? they are rated lower but I hear the heads flow more. what makes the 2g have more power? higher boost level? Marcus

the 1g is "capable" of making more power than a 2g with less mods/$$. The 2g came with higher compression and highe boost, and thats what gives it its higher rating. But it was at the expense of modabilty, and high end output. The 2g had a better exhaust mani, TB elbow, IC, O2 housing, etc, while the 1g had better intake mani, head, lower compression, turbo, cams (VERY slight), etc. There are further differences, all of which I have saved in a text file at home that I can cut and paste when I get out of work. OThers will be able to provide more info too.
