Best bang for the buck for under 25k? Pick up a straight/rust free second gen nova for less than 5k, and 20k on a sprayed aluminum block BBC. *Untouchable*

Re: best bang for the buck cars under 25,000

WRX is the best of the bunch if you have to drive it on anything other than dry pavement. RSX probably has the best gas mileage and close with the Focus for the lowest insurance. SRT4 is probably the best sleeper car of the bunch. Mustang has the most power as long as you live in the desert where it doesn't rain.

Hands down the SRT-4 is the best bang for the buck in the $20,000 range. I would take it over the WRX any day. I took a test drive in both last weekend and there was no comparison.

Re: best bang for the buck cars under 25,000

Well the RSX-S is the best car I would say, the SRT-4 may be very fast but it is still a neon, and dodge reliable, i read an article about some SRT-4s having some engine and clutch problems this early...hahahahha

Sorry but you read wrong. The SRT-4 is NOT a Neon. If you want to use that logic than the Evo is still a Lancer and the WRX and STi are still an Impreza. And you say "Dodge reliable" how freaking ignorant.

those srt-4s are probably having problems cause of how hard its being drivin, i mean think about the type of people who would buy them, they probably bought it for speed, and they probably drive them pretty hard. also, its been out long enough that i would expect some of them to start having problems, not all of them are gonna be perfect, even cars, or companies known for good reliability will get problems this early.
