spoon/itr valve springs ?

i know i only need set of itr intake springs for my setup (2001 itr cams) for my ek vti (b16a2) but think i may just get whole spring kit just in case i go for wilder cams in the future. would you guys go for spoon or itr spring kit. the spoon are stiffer than the itr but will this mean the itr cams wont be working at their best ?

Re: spoon/itr valve springs ?

If you're going to a lumpier cam in the future then neither is good for you. Most companies sell springs that are matched to the cam specs, so you should wait till you know for sure.

Re: spoon/itr valve springs ?

got itr spring set (inner and outer on the way). got confirmation from couple of places that spoon springs need head milling so opted against. like you say, if i go for wilder cams in future its better to get matching valvetrain.
