Windstar front end noise.

I have an '01 Windstar and it recently started to make a buzzing/rubbing sound in the right front corner. It only happens when I make a left turn and it doesn't always make the noise. I've checked around the wheel well area and can't find signs of anything rubbing. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Windstar front end noise.

Sounds like you have a wheel bearing starting to go bad.

I wouldn't rule out the wheel bearing, but I had a similar problem that guadually got worse. Turn out to be a dry tie rod end. fixed it with a needle greaser. It was hard to pin point the noise 'till I removed the tire and twisted the tie rod.
