turbo upgrades on sr20det

hi, can anyone advise on a turbo upgrade for sr20det cos im intending to replace the garrett t28 for a bigger and more powerful turbo. has anyone fitted a t67 or t88 on it before ? how about hks 2540 or trust td06 20g ? or any recommendations that provide a good mix between power and lag ? thanx.

Re: turbo upgrades on sr20det

yep, currently using s15 engine. previously was using a ca18det and later a sr20det from and s14 before they all blew. feel that the s15 engine is still more powerful though despite what ive read of how ca18det is better.

regarding the t28 turbo, sure no problem. where are u residing by the way ? ive got a very good condition t25, used for a week only with mil at less than 10000 before i changed to t28, u interested ?

i actually have a 2nd gen dsm t25 already and i'm looking for something bigger. the s15 ball bearing t28 would be perfect i think. i'm in wisconsin, USA. would shipping be a bitch?

ca18det better then s15 sr20? lol, who told you that?

hks gt2830, a t04 e is pretty god you might want something with a 65-67 trim so that you wont have too much lag and a 70 a/r you dont want a big turob that will have lots of lag you want something that will spool pretty quickly.

:22yikes: for $100 more i could get a t3/t4- brand new!
20,000 km, that's under 10,000 miles, right?
what does mil mean
do you have pics?
any idea how much shipping will be?

Re: turbo upgrades on sr20det

is it so ? cos thats the price of t28 that has a low milege that are selling over here. yep, 20000km. its taken out of my friend's car already but im not sure whether he has a pic on it. the freight will be less than $40USD. will help u ask him again on the price, see if he could lower it.
