This might belong in Venting/stress release, but it has more to do with Stealth....stupid peice of crap that I love so much. Two spun bearings in two years is insane. The first could've been my fault, I was laboring under the delusion that a powerful engine was capable of handling the power it put out...the second time, though...that was just the ruling karmic power of this world having a right old time making my life a living hell. a YUGO could've taken more abuse than that engine. Now the dealer is wanting 4500 dollars for an engine block just so they can throw the rest of the engine onto it and give me a warranty. Hey, a warranty, that would be great! God knows I'd need it...YEAH, 'cept Crate engines have a rebuilt 3.0 DOHC for sale...completely assembled, as luck would have it, for 4100 plus my old engine. good riddance, I say.
Has anyone out there gotten their dream car and had it blow up in their face not once, but twice? ? ? ?
Why must this car hate me, especially when I love it so! AGH!

Hmm well I must say ...That sucks. My Stealth has been down for a long time because 1 I don't trust mechanics and 2 I am too lazy to actually work on it at the moment..Plus I don't know the exact problem..yet. Won't start ( How vague and open to the possibility of having to replace almost EVERYTHING.) But yeah , I may consider buying the DOHC. I don't want the other one though.
