jdm or dsm and why?
I have a 97' gs-t and my motor's blown, now I have in mind to get a JDM but, I've heard theres no difference. Does anyone know?

Like I just psoted in the other thread, the only difference is the compression ratio. Sometimes when you buy an EVO motor, it includes the 16g and 510cc injectors, which is a nice bonus. But you will pay more than you will for a regualr dSM motor. THe last used 6 bolt I picked up was 500 bucks with perfect compression, and I ran 12s on it (14b and 50 trim) for 30k miles. If you are going to be using a stock motor, might as well get out of it as cheap as possible.
