Question 2000 Grand Am Service Vehicle Soon light

I have the 2000 Grand Am V6, The service vehicle soon light comes on when the vehicle is put into gear and will remain on until the vehicle is shut off. I checked all the lights on the vehicle, every thing is good. I did put in some more antifreeze but that didnt cure the problem.

If this is the Service Vehicle Soon light, then you may have a DRL bulb that is out.
Check the lights closely

Re: 2000 Grand Am Service Vehicle Soon light

Theres two pins , you pull them up carefully to release the light assembly , then you turn the knob on the back of the light to release the bulb housing , be gentle it is almost brittle. Pull the old bulb out and without EVER touching the bulb on the new light (hold it with paper towell or a dry clean grease free rag) or just hold the backing of the bulb and guide it in put the light power clip back on it and reverse the removal proccess and press the clips in , you will need to get a headlamp alighnment to ensure they are straight.
