Running Board Lights
Does anyone know where to get replacement bulbs for the lights in the factory running boards on the 2003 Montero LTD? On the bulb is printed "297 5W12V" but I can't find #297 bulbs online or anywhere. Can I just put 5W 194's in or do I have to buy 297's from the dealer? (which will probably cost me a small fortune!!!) I really want to put a different color other than yellow in them, like blue or green. That's why I'm looking to replace them. If I try blue 194's, could that damage the wireing or socket? The 297's and 194's look almost identical.
