Does This happen to you

or is this normal say if im driving and i take a corner and im in 4th gear and the mph drop to 30 while im taking the corner. When i acclerate the car stutters so i put it into 3rd and it's just fine. Also i cant acclerate past 3000 rpm in first when i reach 3000 the tach needle starts to jump isn't it.

Re: Does This happen to you

If the car "stutters" at low RPM while trying to accelerate than you are in too high of a gear.

Check engine light on? Any codes?

I would guess you have a distributor problem

Re: Does This happen to you

You shouldnt be in 4th taking 30mph turns try taking turns in 3rd and if it still does that check your distributor like jackasssi said to do.

What you doin is like starting your car in second, ...its not right!!!
