Looking for headers for an 88 astro van V6

I'm just asking around for some headers for my 88 astro van please get back to me If you know of any

i belive edelbrock makes a set. also cam/intake/custom chip. carefull- i have been warned opening up this exaust will loose torque. really racing or street? think about it. how about a chip and maybe one of those throutle body "turbine air"thingies. some people are swearing by them. P.S. hold on to your wallet!, youll wish youd just bought a vortec......richard

Torque loss with open exhaust is relative. You would need to open the exhaust to the point of violating the law and making the stereo inaudible before the torque loss at low speeds became an issue. I opened up my exhaust with a better muffler and removing the heat riser, which was partially closed, and saw an engine that ran much better. A larger single exhaust with good mufflers and a low restriction cat will improve the system. Duals would be necessary to lose torque. This system would not sound good on a V6. Ray
