It seems in between oil changes that the oil goes down on the dipstick.
Sometimes under hard acceleration, black smoke comes out. The oil doesn't go down much on dipstick, but I was wondering if it is suppose to go down at all or if other people are noticing this and I should get it back to the dealer? Thanks, mrsparky637 |

And let me add that 1 quart in 3000 miles is not considered abnormal in a GM engine
