Problem with my 4wheeldrive

Hey every one im having a problem with my rodeo. I have a 2000 v6 auto. I went out to day to do some off roading and when I tried to engage the 4wheeldrive the green light started flashing slow and fast and it never engaged I looked in the owners manual to see what was up NO HELP . On my way home I stopped at another spot to let my dogs out and I tried to use it agene and it worked that time but now I cant get the DAMN green 4wheel drive light to shut off . Am I doing something wrong or should I take it back to the dealer to have them fix what ever is wrong.

Thanks
Bill

Hey thanks for the info. I’m going to have the dealer fix it I bough it 3weeks ago so its going to be on there dime. I went to check it out this morning and when I put in 4wd the trans doesn’t want to shift all that easy and when I put it in 4low it feels like it wants to stall on my and it doesn’t want to move. So in my opinion it’s FUBAR.
