1994 old cierra electrical problems

My problem is that all the following things are not operating in my car. The headlights, brakelights, emergency flashers, power door locks, power mirror controls, power seats, dome light, map light, horn, rear window defroster, radio, and also the anti-lock brake indicator light is on.
I was informed by my local auto parts store that the problem may be the headlight switch. While this may not be an expensive fix, ($18.00) it appears to be very labor intensive. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what the problem may be? My daughter was driving the car home yesterday when all these things quit working at once. Other than the above mentioned problems, the car operates just fine. Looking forward to some informative replies

I'd take a peek around the starter area. Where the main power wire from the battery bolts to it there are a few other lugs that bolt there also. Follow those they should be orange fusible links maybe one of them are out.

Hope I'm getting ths message back to you. I'm new to this. Thank-you for your reply. Your solution sure sounds a lot easier than replacing the light switch. I'll work in that tomorrow. I'll let you know what i found. thanks again

Just to add to this, my 79 el camino had a blown fusible link, when I grounded the alternator power wire.

Find it, take it where it burned in half, twist tehm, and tape um
