Smile 944S2N/A Mods

Hi guys,
Im used to driving Turbo charged cars even though i love my S2 i find it a little slow.Im thinking about upgrading my exhaust with a custom S/Steel one also gutting the cat at same time & fitting a K&N induction kit.
What BHP power increase will i realisticly get or is there any other suggestions other than remap/chip or cams.....4 power increases.

Cheers Martin

its been seen that the N/A 944's gain nearly nothing from bolt ons. An 8 valve N/A gained a dyno proven total of 5 hp off an exhaust, intake, AND chip. If you wanna make it more powerful and stay N/A your gonna want to raise compression some. The S2 may gain a little more than the 8 valve from breathing mods, since it revs higher.

Re: 944S2N/A Mods

I disagree-I had a 89 N/A that had a noticible increase in hp from a chip. header, free flow exhaust and K+N
Look at Web cams for a 968-good easy mod
