Transmission Problems HELP

well it looks like i have actually broken an acura tranny. i have chipped a tooth off of first gear. it will be ok if i do not put to much pressure on the tranny for the next couple of weeks. my ? is, can i possibly put say a type R tranny in my 93 int LS or a 97 gsr? or do i have to stick to the 90-93 LS tranny? the reason i ask is to broaden my scope for used ones, and the B series motor seems to be fairly the same for almost all model int's (except 89 or older). and will any other tranny fit my car? Thnx guys

opps, it is a manual tranny, sorry nm most of that. i just realized that 94 and up int's have a hydrulic tranny. now the ? is which has a better gear ratio, a GS or an LS?

if u have cable trans.. then get the s1... but if u want a better trans get the gsr and go to hasport to get the conversion kit.. its very easy to install all u need is some simple tools.
