Re: 4 wheel drive?

If yours is the same as mine it is a rocker switch that has a green light for 4 wheel high and amber for 4 wheel low. You really shouldn't have to use the low for anything because it is mainly used for pulling. You have to use extremely low speeds when using low. I only use the 4 high and have had no reason to use low. However if you should need to use the low you need to have it in 4 high first and then your speed had to be around 5 or 10 mph to switch into low. Then to switch back you will have to go back into high and then out of 4 wheel drive. Hope this helps.

Re: 4 wheel drive?

If you use 4 High then push the switch top which should give you a green light. After you are in 4 high, push the lower part of the switch to engage the 4 low. However, if using 4 Low, you must be at low speed and I believe you may even have to put it in neutral to engage 4 low. As I said before, I have never used 4 low but read about it in the owners manual. If I could get my scanner to work I would email you the pages about the 4 wheel drive use............Good luck

Re: 4 wheel drive?

I am having a problem with the dash 4 wheel drive switch (electronic switch). Sometimes it will work sometimes it won't. Sometimes i am in 4 wheel drive and i know it, but the green light on the dash won't light up, even though it is in!!! Then going down the road, i put on my rear wiper (next to the 4 wheel drive switch), and the green light will just come on. I have heard many people saying they are having the same problem as me, and they say that i need to replace the switch because most of the time that is all that is wrong, a faulty switch. The problem is, i can't find one! If somebody could just tell me where i can get one for cheap that would be great!!! Most people say that it costs about $30 bucks for the switch, but I just don't know where to get one!!! Please reply to let me know where i can find one!! Thanks in advance!
