headlight alignment factory settings???

I recently got pulled over for failure to dim headlights while following a vehicle less than 200 ft... problem is the lights are set on dim... can anyone tell me what the factory settings are so i can check it out and see if they are set right... I know there is an alignment process...if anyone knows it I greatly appreciate the help... thanks

Re: headlight alignment factory settings???

if you truck is factory height their are tools that attach to your head lights to set them. best way go to a garage or body shop have them set its 10-15 minutes to do should be $10-15 charge. if its lifted more than 2 inches park along side another veh. that is set and adjust the low beams so that they hit the ground at the same distance as set veh. be sure they hit ground in line to your truck
