Service Engine Soon Light Came On
Hello my fellow Chevy Driver.
Can anyone tell me what sensor went out that caused this light to come on. Thank You

When the PCM detects a problem with the emissions system, it will set a code and turn on the SES light.
You will have to pull the code to start the diagnostic process on what caused the problem. Depending on the year and mileage of your vehicle, it may still be covered under the factory warranty.

if your fuel cap was loose it may have caused the light to come on.

Sorry to jump in on post but pulling the codes would be the best bet. And yes the fuel cap thing is true, what is that all about
