ran a gsr hatch

the other night i followed a gsr in a 93 civic hatch(my friend was in the car and he knew what kind of setup he had..)any ways..we messed around for like 5 miles and then finally got the chance to race....we were both in second..and floored it....at like 40 mph ...he pullled not much in second...then once he third he got enough to pull in front of me..(why he did this i dont know) but i was still on him pretty good...he defitly won but i was stoked i didnt get punished too bad..

my set up..
95 hatch
b18b1 swap(ls motor..and trans)

Re: ran a gsr hatch

Well yeah the gsr motor is faster than yours, maybe he sprayed? or he wouldve beaten you all the gears pulling away further and further, but if it was a big gap as soon as he hit third maybe he sprayed...

nah, no spray needed.

the gsr an ls are pretty even through the 1st two gears w/ the gsr pulling only a touch at the top of 2nd (like it happened in the race.) then in 3rd, thats when the gsr has quite a bit more pull than its non-vtec brother.

Re: ran a gsr hatch

Very True!!! The ls shoudn't be far behide because it has a lot of balz but just not enough due to the fact of lacking vtec. The only reason he would get a big gab if he sprayed but he didn't so you are where you supposed to be.
PRETTY IMPRESSIVE DRIVING, MAN
