o2 sensor location
this might be dumb question but i cant find any thing on it any were
if im using an hf manifold and a dsm turbo and o2 housing would it matter if i put my o2 sensor in the manifold or after the turbo would one spot make an a/f ratio gauge more accuret than the oter |

doesnt really matter. all the o2 sensor does, is measure temp. they way it does it , it woulnt make a big diffrence. i suggest though right after the turbo. somewhere around the bottom of the manifold. if u need to drill and tap for the o2 sensor, make sure u point it the right way,and also make sure its deep enough in the manifold

The o2 does not measure temp. and even if it did then it would make a big difference where it was at. The manifold would be hotter than after the turbo. The o2 sensor measures the oxygen content in the gases and converts that to millivolts for the computer to read. the higher the millivolts the richer you are.
