V-AFC II worth it?

Before I start, I know I need a Hondata S200B for my fuel managment. But I don't have an extra grand or so right now for ECU's, harnesses, ect., sence I just had to rebuild the bottom end with Eagle H-beams and Wiseco 8.5:1 pistons. So in the mean time, I was thinking of trying the new Vers. 2 of the A'pexi V-AFC that I can get fairly cheap. I'm running a Rev Hard Stage 2 kit on my 2000 Si. I plan on running anywhere from 10-15 psi on high boost (around 5 psi daily). The only fuel managment I'm using right now is a Vortec FMU that came with the turbo kit. The kit also came with a larger intank fuel pump and I did add a Missing Link. The main reasons I want to try a V-AFC is to help smooth out the cars idle, because I'm adding some 450 DSM injectors, and to boost a little safer until I can get the Hondata.
So does anyone have any experience with a V-AFC II on a turbo set up?
If so,

1) whats the best way to use it. With/without FMU or with/without Missing Link, ect.

2) Will it help me any if I want to run boost levels of higher than 10 psi?

3) What problems have you come across?

Again, I know I need (and believe me I want) the Hondata unit, but its just not in the cards right now.
