need some help w/'95 stock radio

just got a 95 gti and don't have money for ice yet
How do i get the anti-theft system on the radio off so I can have some tunes

You need the unlock code that came w/the owner's manual. If you can't get it I think you can take the radio S/N & possibly the VIN to VW to get it.

yea, i had the same problem wit my first vw, i jus took it to vw a tech did it for me free of charge. i was 16 then this was like 4 yrs ago pll were nicer then. you might get charged now...hahaha with the economy and all
