Question What is a good aftermarket rearend for a RB25det ?

I want to know what is a good rearend for a 95-96 240 sx to handle an RB25DET, I think I will be pushing around the 500 hp range or how to build the stock rearend.

Re: What is a good aftermarket rear end for a RB25dett ?

There are stock R200 LSD's out there holding 500HP on them right now. An aftermarket one isn't necessary but if you do get one then look into Kaaz or Cusco IMO.

Re: What is a good aftermarket rear end for a RB25dett ?

First Off The Best Method For True Strength Is To Weld The Spider Gears On For Full-time Locker System, Secondly The Stock R200v Is Rated To 450hp.... If They Weren't They Wouldn't Be In 300zx Tt's. I Sure Hope The Rb25dett Comment Was A Typo Unless You Plan On A Tt Conversion.

a welded diff? yeah maybe if you plan on building a trailer queen that is only capable of going straight.

the best kind of diff is made by quaife.

Get a ford 9" rear end with solid rear axels, some good traction bars, and some big ass wrinke wall slicks with the rear end tubbed out. Now you ready to drag race lmfao.

cheap, junkyard, ford truck. This would be a lot of custom work. basically redoing entire rear end suspension. Get some Edelbrock coil springs/shock setup for hot rods. Its basically just a piece you can custom order for a custom car. Bolt that up to upper strut mount in rear and weld onto diff LOL. Then get you some GOOD traction arms.
