Re: Window Tinting

In MI the front and back windows can be full limo. The sides have to be light enough to be able to see in the car at night. With a doctors note i guess you can get as dark as you need to.

You're serious!?! I have a degree in Criminal Justice (no interest in becoming a cop) and I've never heard of this. Like if you have cataracts or something? Remember the movie 'Powder'? What kind of medical condition are you talking about?

i think what he is talking about is goin to the doctor and complaining about how the sun affects your vision, sqinting a lot, making your eyes water, etc... we have that same law here in MN, you can get a presription for a certain darkness of window tint, and i have heard of insurance companies even paying for the window tint!!! you also can get a permit for it, mainly its for car shows and stuff like that, it allows you to drive to the show and back... well i hope that answers your question!

Sorry about that.
Try this:
http://www.doityourselftint.com/tintlaws.html
Or this:
http://home.pcisys.net/~bpc/auto_law/tint/
Maybe this:
http://www.gilafilms.com/auto/car_tint_laws.html
How about this:
http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/consumer_in...statelaws.html
Here's another:
http://www.atlanticshoreline.com/State_Laws.htm

Let me know if they don't work.
