SOHC D16A6 Cam Shaft

Just got my 89 crx HF with low miles and was thinking of throwing a cam in. I bought a hf shell and dropped in the si motor and trans D16A6(motor was free).
pt#270-251-0012
Crane Cams has a nice grind, anyone have any experience with this cam?
Adv.Duration- 261°Int/263°Exh
Duration @ .050''- 206°Int/208°Exh
Gross Lift- .394''Int/.386''Exh
Lobe Separation- 108°
All I have for the car is a cold air intake, header, and cat-back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Was thinking if I got the cam, I would buy a ported intake manifold, skunk2 or obx. oh and some cam gears

I like the SR909 from exospeed, for that they suggest a ported head and manifolds, you can use stock valvesprings with the stock limiter, but with valve springs you can raise the limiter and use it to the full potential.

I would go with the deltacams 272 grind. has a nice hardcore lope at idle, and only costs $80 for the regrind.

Re: SOHC D16A6 Cam Shaft

That was a good one kinda like the ones I used in 5th grade. Anyways I have a gude cam in my car (very agressive) and you need to get a adj. cam gear. If not then you will never touch my fat ugly ol lady again.

Re: SOHC D16A6 Cam Shaft

No, just kidding it's cool man thanks for the responses, yeah I'd defintely get a adjustable cam "gear". Who else has a cam for the D16A6? All i can find is one at www.jegs.com and they have a very limited sport compact part of the site.

Re: Re: SOHC D16A6 Cam Shaft

Yea I dont rember exactly I got it in a deal but its shouldnt be more than $70 more than the other cams you find. E-mail them and ask. Hit the contact us button and tell them what you have and what you want. They will instruct you there.
