Well, I listen to some rap, and they all talk about henessey. No one Ive really talked to knows exactly what it is, mainly just reflecting what I think it must be. Ive been able to figure that its some type of liquor, and they way they talk about, sounds like it must be very strong.

But, I cant find any info on it. I just want to know what they're talking about (and my roommate thinks it must be expensive, booze bling bling).

Does anyone know, or have a link?

Its some great stuff. I like rap, but 99.5% of them only drink the stuff b/c its expensive(well some it). Rappers are worthless when it comes to class, they buy things that are expensive b/c they think it makes them look cool.

i remember during christmas one year, one of my cousins was gonna pour himself some Jack Daniels Whiskey....my Aunt goes to him and says "What the hell are you thinking?! she takes the whiskey out of his hands and hands him a bottle of hennessy and says "This is much better"

Hennessy is good but I prefer Remy Martin.

Hennessy is marketed more avidly but then it's owned by LVMH - who happen to own Louis Vuitton, Moet and Hennessy among others..

LVMH are clever folk and product placement is one of raison h'etre...

And my love of fine cognac (and malt scotch, vodka, rum, cocktails and cuban cigars) is the product of a mis-spent adolesence and adult life rather than any exhibition of the art of poseur.

As brandy goes,Remy is pretty much up there,but ordinary brandy is still a poor relation to armagnac.

eck, i can't drink that stuff...too expensive...like $50/bottle. I'll stick to "Prestige" (ralph's brand alcohol-- $9/handle).
